Youth Basketball LeaguesBasketball Leagues:

The Eastbluff Basketball Program consists of 4 Basketball seasons, in which we divide boys and girls into divisions based upon their grade: Fall High School Hoops, Fall Basketball Skills Clinic, Winter Basketball League, Spring League Hoops and Summer Basketball Clinic.

Our basketball leagues give kids the chance to learn the game of basketball in a safe and positive environment, shape their basketball skills and abilities, and play fun and friendly games with their peers.

Winter League Basketball

1st & 2nd Grade Instructional League (Winter Season only):

In order to make improvements to our leagues and better serve our young athletes, we have reformatted our Instructional Leagues.

- Players will be split into teams of 10 based on their school.

- Each team will play 1 game per week consisting of 2 – 12 minute halves, running clock.  (Clock will be stopped at the 6 minute mark of each half to make substitutions.)

- During each game, when violations are called, the official (league coordinator) will explain to the players what the violation was and demonstrate how to correct the error.

- Prior to the 24 min game, for the first 30 minutes of the hour scheduled, the instructional league will consist of a mini clinic where the official (league coordinator) and the 2 teams’ coaches help highlight, and work on some of the common mistakes made during the games and work with the players on improving their basic basketball skills. (Dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, etc.)
